18 Year-old Jace "the Ace" Meier Wins at Irwindale
Secures Rookie of the Year Title
Las Vegas, NV (September 17, 2007) - Irwindale rookie, Jace "the Ace" Meier earned his second NASCAR Late Model main event win of the season Saturday night at Irwindale Speedway. After winning earlier in the year at his home track - the Bullring at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway - this weekend was Meier's first win at the famed Irwindale Speedway in the 50 lap Auto Club Late Model main event.
Meier, a Las Vegas native who recently moved to North Carolina to attend college and progress his racing career, started the day off strong by qualifying second behind High Point Racing teammate, Scottie Jenkins. In the main event, Meier took the lead from Michael Wright on lap 19 with an inside pass in turn 2. Multi-race winner Nick Joanides and Kevin Callahan provided several late race challenges for Meier as the three drivers went three-wide several times in the last ten laps. "The car was great which allowed me to get into the lead early on" explained Meier. "However, towards the end we fell off just a little and I really had to give everything I had to keep those two guys behind me."
The win clinched the Rookie of the Year title for Meier and his #55 High Point Racing crew lead by crew chief, Brett Barnett. With one race remaining for the Auto Club Late Models at Irwindale Speedway, Meier is a mere 10 points out first for the season championship behind his team-owner Tim Huddleston. "I'm really excited about the last race" stated Meier. "We're going to do everything we can to win again and that's all we can do. If it so happens that we get fortunate and win the championship and Rookie of the Year, that would obviously be phenomenal, but we're just going for the win next week."
Meier is an 18 year old Las Vegas native, currently racing for Tim Huddleston's High Point Racing team. Meier recently graduated from Spring Valley High School with a 4.414 GPA where he was the President of his Senior Class, President of Spring Valley's DECA chapter, and a recognized Peer Mentor. He is currently attending Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina on a full academic scholarship as part of the Honors Institute.

Meier Earns Another Top-Five Finish
Moves into second place at Irwindale
(June 29, 2007) - Jace "the Ace" Meier scored his fourth top-five finish Saturday evening in the 40-lap Auto Club Late Model Feature event at Irwindale Speedway. After nearly totaling the car two weeks earlier the #55 High Point Racing Team worked overtime in order to make this weekend's race. Despite a nearly brand new car, Meier ran a qualifying lap of 19.147 to put him third behind two of his High Point Racing teammates. In the main event, Meier ran up-front all night and brought home a fifth place finish.
"For us to come out here tonight with basically a brand new car and qualify third is a testament to how great my team is" explained Meier. "I know the car spent a lot of time at the Racecar Factory this week and they did a phenomenal job to repair it in time for today's race. This truly was a team effort."
With the solid finish, Meier and the #55 team moved into second in Auto Club Late Model points behind teammate/car owner, Tim Huddleston. Meier also continues to open up his lead in the "Rookie of the Year" standings as he now has a 64 point lead over the next rookie in the field.

JACE MEIER EARNS RUNNER-UP FINISH
Justice Brothers/High Point Racing 1-2 Finish
(May 21, 2007) - Jace "the Ace" Meier nearly beat teammate Tim Huddleston Saturday evening at the Automobile Club of Southern California Late Model series 40-lap main event at Irwindale. Meier had qualified 5th, but started on pole, and ran neck-to-neck with Huddleston and Staudinger the entire race. Huddleston had a 10-car length lead with six laps to go when Meier started closing in and finished right on his rear bumper.
"If we would've had a few more laps tonight we would've been able to win this thing," said Meier. "Our #55 car was a rocket once the tires came in. I'm really happy for Justice Brothers and High Point Racing that we could finish 1-2 tonight."
With the 2nd place finish, Meier is now 12 points out of first place, an incredible stat from a track rookie. When interviewed in the winner's circle, Huddleston commented to the crowd that Meier is an incredible talent and someone to watch for in the future to end up in the big leagues.

LAS VEGAS TEEN JACE “THE ACE” MEIER
WINS AT THE BULLRING; CARRIES MOMENTUM INTO IRWINDALE
Jace "the Ace" Meier came home this past Saturday to win big in the Late Model feature at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Scoring his first victory of the season over High Point Racing teammate Chris Carmody and track champion Doug Hamm, Meier drove smart to win the 30-lap race. The win, along with the almost victory last week at Irwindale, gives Meier the momentum he needs to get back to the California track and compete for Rookie of the Year and hopefully more.
"It was an incredible win," said Meier. "We had a great car all weekend thanks to all my guys from High Point Racing and the Racecar Factory. It's phenomenal to get my first win of the season at my home track in front of all my family and friends. The officials made it hard on us by making me start in the back of the heat race, but we fought through it as a team and ended the night in Victory Lane! I really think that we're going to have a good shot of being in contention for another win this weekend back at Irwindale"
Starting off pole, Meier took the lead from pole-sitter Glen Burke on the first lap, in a daring three-wide move down the back straightway. For Meier, it was back and forth all evening with point leader Doug Hamm who is undefeated in the Late Model class in 2007. After Hamm took the lead in lap 11, Meier battled back and regained the lead on lap 21 racing first to the checkered flag.

LAS VEGAS TEEN JACE “THE ACE” MEIER
LEADING “ROOKIE OF THE YEAR” POINTS AFTER TWO RACES
IRWINDALE SEASON TO RESUME APRIL 28TH
Las Vegas, NV (April 19, 2007) - After two races in the Late Model Division at Irwindale Speedway, Jace “the Ace” Meier is the leading rookie, qualifying and finishing higher than any other rookies in both races and leading “Rookie of the Year” by 20 points. Meier is racing for Tim Huddleston's High Point Racing team. Huddleston is a past Late Model division champion and owner of one of the top Late Model teams in Southern California.
“This is an entirely different style of racing compared to what I'm used to,” said Meier. “It's the first time I've ever raced on a half-mile track, or any track where the high line is the preferred line. It's definitely been a learning experience.”
Both of Meier's races have included more than 35 cars, a much bigger field than his prior races in Las Vegas. His next race is slated for April 28th. Making adjustments to the car, he's looking for a strong finish.

JACE MEIER NARROWLY MISSES WINNING GRAND PRIZE
IN THE FORZA MOTORSPORT SHOWDOWN
Las Vegas race car driver Jace Meier qualified first to determine the starting line up for the "Final Race" of the Forza Motorsport Showdown yesterday evening. Meier had a commanding lead after the first three episodes of the live-action four-part mini-series, being aired on SPEED, the automotive lifestyle and motor sports network.
In last night's episode, the team went to a private dinner in the presidential wine cellar of the Chteau élan Winery & Resort. On the final day of racing, the teams went to the drag strip and Meier finished second. The last race was at Road Atlanta where Meier qualified first, but the producers decided to invert the field so he was last to start. In less than two laps, Meier passed every car and took the lead. However, on the third lap, the thermostat went out and the car overheated and he had to limp to the finish line. With such a commanding lead going into the final race, Meier still had a chance, but Angela Cope managed to pass another competitor which gave her just enough points to win
"I had been in the lead at the end of each race day and knew I could catch up at Road Atlanta, even with being last in the inverted field," said Meier. "I couldn't believe the car gave out on me at the end, but the entire show was am amazing experience and I'm a better driver because of it."
Meier is now focusing on the new season at hand, entering his fifth year of competitive racing on March 24th in the Late Model Division at Irwindale Speedway.
Meier was named "Rookie of the Year" in the NASCAR Late Model division at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this season. In addition, he ran with USAC as part of the California Ford Focus Midget Pavement series, winning three races and four poles in the past two seasons.
Meier is an 18 year old Las Vegas native and according to people that have seen him race, has a bright future ahead of him. When he isn't racing, Meier is an honor student at Spring Valley High School and a very active member in his school and the community, in addition to serving as a motivational speaker.
LAS VEGAS TEEN JACE "THE ACE" MEIER
TESTS WELL AT IRWINDALE
BEGINS 2007 SEASON THIS SATURDAY, MARCH 24
Las Vegas, NV (March 20, 2007) - Jace "the Ace" Meier is set to enter his fifth year of competitive racing as he debuts car #55 in the Late Model Division at Irwindale Speedway this Saturday. Meier has been selected to drive for High Point Racing with Tim Huddleston, a past Late Model division champion and owner of one of the top Late Model teams in Southern California.
In the past few weeks, Meier has been testing his new car to much success. In early February he tested to "shake down" the car and get familiarized with his new team. The team was very impressed with how quickly he adapted to the car and the track.
"I became comfortable with the car and was less than two-tenths off the pace," said Meier. "Working with my crew chief Brett Barnett and my entire team has been phenomenal. In just a short time we've found we work well together and quickly got the car set-up to my liking."
"I saw Meier race last season at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway," said team owner Tim Huddleston. "I was so impressed with his driving ability, in addition to his marketing savvy. And, he's a Ron Sutton Winner's Circle Development Driver, so his knowledge and skills are a great asset to our team."
March 3rd was Meier's first "open test" at Irwindale. Roughly 30 Late Model teams showed up and he was in the top three on the "time sheets." In a few sessions he clocked the fast times.
Meier was named "Rookie of the Year" in the NASCAR Late Model division at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this season. In addition, he ran with USAC as part of the California Ford Focus Midget Pavement series, winning three races and four poles in the past two seasons.
Meier is an 18 year old Las Vegas native. When he isn't racing, Meier is an honor student at Spring Valley High School, president of his senior class and a very active member in his school and the community, in addition to serving as a Motivational Speaker.
