Meier is an 18 year old Las Vegas native, currently racing for Tim Huddleston's High Point Racing team. He graduated this spring from Spring Valley High School with a 4.414 GPA and was president of his senior class, among other recognitions. Courted by schools all over the country, Meier chose Belmont Abbey College because of its long tradition of turning out business leaders, in addition to being able to concentrate on Motorsports Management. He was awarded one of the competitive Honors Fellowship Awards from the school as part of his acceptance into their Honors Institute. He is the first student to be enrolled in the Honors Institute and the Motorsports Program, and he is the only full season race car driver to be admitted, as well.

Jace started his career racing go-karts at age twelve. In his first year of kart racing, Jace won one regional and three local championships with his dad, Scott, performing tuning duties. Because of his height, Jace had to move out of karts the following year and into Legends cars for the 2004 season. He finished fifth in overall point standings and was runner up for "Rookie of Year." That season he also earned a spot on Ron Sutton's Developmental Team when he was selected from 284 applicants to drive one of the Sutton Ford Focus Midgets in 2005.
In 2005, his rookie season of USAC competition, Jace turned many heads as he was the youngest driver in the series and still managed to race with the veterans of the circuit.
Despite missing the first race of the year because he was too young to compete, Jace is proud to say he still finished sixth in the overall season point standings. A few other accolades that "the Ace" is proud of is he won a series-high four "Earl's Fast Qualifier" Awards, two main event wins, and had numerous heat race victories. When the 2005 season was over, Jace and crew had earned 7 top-five finishes, 5 top-three finishes, and 2 elusive event victories.
2006 was a challenging year for Jace as he competed in the NASCAR Late Model division at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway AND continued to compete in the USAC series in California. Meier ended his 2006 season on a high note, being named Rookie of the Year in the NASCAR Late Model division at the Bullring. With one win in the USAC series at Altamont Raceway Park in Tracy, CA, Jace's hopes in winning the series fell short when he had to pull out of one of the last races of the season. But, when you're offered a national mini-series and the chance to experience racing challenges you've never even imagined, some dreams fall short, while others are being made.
Jace spent the 2007 season racing for Huddleston at Irwindale Speedway in California and almost pulled out a championship season (he ended up coming in 2nd to Huddleston). He was awarded "Rookie of the Year," in their Late Model Division and posted wins at both Irwindale and the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway during the season.
Jace is not only successful at the race track, but also in the classroom. As mentioned, he currently attends Belmont Abbey College as a member of the Honors Institute and is a winner of Belmont Abbey's Abbot Leo Haid Award and the Honors Fellowship Scholarship. He is a graduate from Spring Valley High School in Las Vegas, graduating with a 4.414 GPA while in the Honors Program. He was the Senior Class President, Editor of Spring Valley's newspaper, President of his DECA chapter, and Co-Event Chair on Spring Valley's "Relay for Life" committee. His success in the classroom has earned him national recognition with many organizations, including the People to People International Program and Rapport Leadership International. Jace has obtained some very innate skills that allow him to be a very successful leader. He credits this to the training he received from Rapport Leadership International.
Meier has always been involved with the community thanks to his parents, Scott and Shari Meier. He has been actively involved with The Greater Las Vegas After-School All-Stars. He is sought after as a motivational speaker talking to kids about staying in school and staying off drugs.
Jace's racing goals include becoming successful in NASCAR and eventually being a NASCAR champion. He also plans on owning his own racing team one day. As you can see, Jace has his mind set on the future, and is confident he will achieve his goals.
