COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Jace signing autographs at the 2nd Annual "Kids on Track - Night at the Races
Staying involved with the community and charitable organizations is very important to Jace, this is something his parents have instilled in him from a very young age.

Here are just some of the organizations and events he’s been involved with this past year:

GREATER LAS VEGAS AFTER-SCHOOL ALL-STARS – This organization operates after school programs in several schools throughout Las Vegas. Programs include sports, arts and much more. Their mission is to provide comprehensive out-of-school programs that keep children safe and help them achieve in school and in life.

Jace partnered with this organization for his 2nd Annual “Kids on Track – Night at the Races” event. Initially he spoke at a school assembly encouraging middle school students to make wise choices for their lives. In the weeks thereafter, 35 of the kids were chosen to see Jace race at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. In addition, Jace, with the support of YORK Heating and Air Conditioning, also gave away 1,000 tickets to the Craftsman Truck Series Race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

CATHOLIC CHARITIES OF SOUTHERN NEVADA - Meals on Wheels is a service of Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, providing Las Vegas’ most frail, low-income seniors with seven nutritious home-delivered meals each week.

Jace partnered with this organization to deliver birthday cakes to homebound elders who were celebrating their birthday. Along with two of his colleagues from the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, these racers in uniform surprise their recipients with much delight.

Other organizations Jace has been involved with include:

  • Shade Tree Women’s Shelter - since 2001, serving meals, helping to stock shelves and giving speeches at their “Friday Night Teen Night” on having hope.
  • Jace was influential in assisting Sheriff Davis of Alamo County in promoting the Nevada Chapter of “Beat the Heat.” Jace went to an elementary school in Alamo, NV and spoke about staying off of drugs and alcohol and making wise choices.
  • In 2005, Jace donated 500 tickets to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The tickets were spread among several local charities (Big Brothers Big Sisters of Nevada, Child Haven, Girls and Boys Town of Nevada).

If you would Jace to speak at your organization, please contact Lenora Kaplan at (702) 506-0104.
